Description This carved sculpture depicts Mut with the crowns of upper and lower Egypt with a uraeus, and Amun with a crown with a uraeus with a hole for the insertion of plumes. Each holds the symbol of life. The right arm of Mut is broken.
Provenance Dikran Kelekian, New York and Paris [date and mode of acquisition unknown]; Henry Walters, Baltimore, 1930, by purchase; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
