Tsuba with a Tea-leaf Harvester Caught in a Rainstorm

Description Provenance Inscription Credit
Description Flying through the sky at the top of this tsuba is a dragon. At the bottom, a man with a basket, a kettle and a sickle runs through rain at the water's edge. Rain is depicted through incised lines. On the reverse, rain is shown at the upper left with a hint of landscape at the bottom. This may be a reference to a legendary story.
