Kyathos Depicting Men on a Banqueting Couch

Description Conservation Provenance Credit
Description This kyathos depicts men, one young and one older, reclining on a banqueting couch surrounded by vines. They were formerly flanked by two eyes, prior to restoration. A kyathos would have been used to dip wine out of a krater for serving into cups, but it also could have been used as a drinking cup.
