Description Bound album. On page one is a "Portrait of the artist, J. McLenan, drawn by himself. May 59." The subjects include genre and domestic scenes, studies of types of people, newsboys, bootblacks, caicatures, comic strips, illustrations for proverbs, Squier's "Waikua - Story of the Gold Coast," the "death of Manitou," and "Alabama Sketches."
