Cattle

Description Provenance Inscription Credit
Description In the foreground cattle graze or rest beside a marsh. Some ducks are waddling along the water's edge pecking for food. Across the background stretch flat plains interrupted at the left by several trees, beneath which graze sheep. The subdued lighting is characteristic of the artist's landscapes.
