Kozuka with a Mountain Landscape
(Japanese Military Armor)
This kozuka depicts a landscape near water. Two bodies of land, on in the middle and one on the right, are connected by a bridge. At the right, the top of a pagoda and other temple buildings can be seen above the tree tops. On the left side of the bridge are huts. There are boats in the water to the left of the huts. In the background, mists shroud distant mountains. At the left of the kozuka, six geese are depicted in flight.
