Paris, ca. 1250-1275; perhaps owned by affiliate of French Cistercian house of Le Rivet, 13th/14th century (Calendar entry at 3 September for dedication of the church at 'Riueta' may refer to Cistercian abbey of Le Rivet in the present diocese of Bordeaux); owned 15th century by friar in north Italy (indicated by later additions on the front flyleaf and calendar); Lèon Gruel, Paris, (Gruel and Engelmann bookplate inscribed 'No. 132'), 19th/20th century; Henry Walters, Baltimore, 1895-1931, by purchase.
