Denarius of Lucius Titurius Sabinus
Obverse: Head of Sabine king Titus Tatius, right; beaded border. Reverse: Two cloaked soldiers, facing inward, each carrying a Sabine woman; beaded border. The iconography of this coin is an elaborate pun on the issuer’s name (Titurius Sabinus).
