Isis Nursing the Child Horus
(Ancient Egypt and Nubia )
This fragment of a statuette has a uraeus on it forehead, and a hole on top of its head, possibly for the insertion of a crown. There is also a stele at its back. Some other elements that are visible include Isis' right hand being held to her left breast, and the Horus child's hand, which is visible on his mother's right arm.
