Phra Malai
This Phra Malai manuscript is written in Cambodian Mul script with some Pali scripture excerpts. The illustrations, some of which are damaged, include: Phra Malai in a landscape with a corpse (damaged) (fol. 1), Indra and Brahma on an orange ground (damaged) (fol. 2), hell scenes (fol. 5), a heavenly being on top of a kala head and a green demon (fol. 5), a lotus scene (very rubbed) (fol. 23), an old man and a girl (fol. 39), a group of nineteen naked boys pulling a dark-skinned mendicant (fol. 40), two seated figures with a stupa (fol 41), a man with a bow and a dog, and Jujaka (fol. 55), a hermit pointing the way to Vessantara's forest of dwelling (fol. 71), and two heavenly beings (fol. 72).
