Tsuba with Geese and Reeds
(Japanese Military Armor)
The front of this tsuba shows two geese in water among reeds. One goose is at the right, while is second is hidden among reeds on the lower left. On the back, a full moon can be seen through the clouds. These are popular motifs of autumn.
