Description This small bronze is likely representative of a style that spread in a period before the creation of the classic Sukhothai style in the middle of the 14th century. There are reasons to look for stylistic sources in the Martaban region. The possibility remains, however, that this image representa a substyle that did not develop until the 2nd half of the 15th century.
