Kozuka with Daruma

Description Provenance Inscription Credit
Description Daruma, the founder of Zen Buddhism, is at the bottom of the kozuka. His arms are raised above his head and he is holding a fly whisk used during meditation. He is either yelling or laughing, with an open mouth. The front of the kozuka is copper and the reverse is shibuichi.
