Description This carved piece is on a pedestal on the front of which is a cartouche beneath a crown. Both the Virgin ahd Child figures wear gilt metal crowns set with brilliants and lined with red velvet. The right hand of the Virgin and the left arm of the Child are broken and restored (?). This is a reduced copy of a miraculous marble statue at Trafani, Sicily.
