Carved, Ivory Ape's Skeleton with Staff
Evidence of damage and repair has been documented to have occured between 1931 and 1962. In 1937 the skeleton statuette was removed from it's original boxwood base (see Argus record 61.346). The skeleton statuette was damaged again in July 2005, the statuette's head/skull was broken off.
