At the upper right are a large, blossoming peony and a bud. Another flower is at the lower right. On the reverse is a butterfly in gold. This is part of a mounted set.

Inscription

[Inscription] 明治辛未孟夏 於東府墨泉邊; [Transliteration] Meiji kanoto hitsuji môka, oite tôfu Sumi izumi atari; [Translation] Meiji year of the sheep (1871) fourth month, in Tokyo near Sumi spring; [Signature] 貞幹; [Translation] Teikan (kao)
