Description A small sparrow is depicted in flight at the left side of this tsuba. A stalk of pampas grass dominates the right side and small chrysanthemums are along the both. Although normally a late summer flower, lilies are shown at the right and on the reverse.
Provenance Henry Walters, Baltimore [date and mode of acquisition unknown]; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
