Description
A black and white drawing of a Baltimore chapel, this image includes a tree to the right and a tiny woman and child walking up the church steps.
Alexandre Vattemare (1796-1864), the French bibliophile and collector, visited Baltimore in 1840 and presumably received this adn the following drawing from Long at that time. In another hand is written: "No. 513 of Catalogue by Robt. Cary Long - not by Latrobe."
