Description Provenance Inscription Credit
Description The mysterious solemnity of Okina's dance (Walters 95.236), here performed by two actors, is contrasted by the vigorously comical dance of Sambaso. Kogyo has depicted Sambaso against a vivid orange background to reflect the energy of his dance. He wears a mask almost identical to Okina's except it is black in color.
