Nomos of Caulonia
Obverse: Apollo, nude, striding right, holding laurel branch in raised right hand, supporting running daimon figure (tutelary spirit) on left; daimon nude, right, holding branch; stag standing, looking back, to right; separate exergual lines for Apollo and stag; complex border of dashes and dots. Reverse: Same types as obverse, reversed and incuse except daimon outline in relief; no incuse or relief of obverse inscription on reverse. This example is possibly a modern cast.
