Denarius of Mark Antony
Obverse: Head of Mark Antony, bare, right. Reverse: Head of Lucius Antonius, bare, right.
The Marcus (Cocceius) Nerva named in the inscription would have held the rank of Praetorian Proquaestor (PRO Q P). As such, he would have handled the financial aspects of Antony’s affairs in the east and may have been responsible for minting this coin.
