Fuchi with Toys
(Japanese Military Armor)
Two mechanical toys ("karakuri") are depicted. On the front is a mechanical toy ("karakuri") of a man sawing a log. These toys were popular in the late Edo period. On the reverse is a toy pigeon. This is part of a set with Walters 51.1061.
