Description This statuette has been highly polished. It depicts a nude Aphrodite posed with her left hand to touch her right thigh. Her right arm is bent at the elbow. Her head is posed to turn right and her hair is falling behind her left shoulder. At her left side is a dolphin. Standing on the back of the dolphin is a winged Cupid holding up a disc. The piece is made with a base. The head, two hands and the right end of the base are gone. The wings of Cupid and part of the dolphin have been restored in plaster.
