Description Gourd-shaped standing cups with the stem in the form of a tree trunk originated in western Europe during the 16th century but were frequently made in Moscow a century later. This piece also has designs of conventionalized foliage and shells executed in repoussé.
Repaired to stabilize loose finial for travel.
