Male Figure from a Wrestling Group
(Ancient Greece )
Although shown here comfortably seated on a rock, this figure is most likely the losing partner in a wrestling match. Similar figures are shown being lifted, about to be thrown to the ground by their opponent. The facial features and hairstyle of the man are reminiscent of Alexander the Great.
