Covered Jar with Crane
(Japan and Korea )
A covered ovoid jar decorated with two panels: one with a crane flying over a pine in front of a rising red sun (symbols of longevity), the other with a boy carrying a long-handled dipper and a fan. The area outside the panels is decorated with a variety of patterns.
