A carved lacquered wood netsuke in the form of a turtle.
A standard (oblong) black lacquer seven compartment inro. The design in hiramakie in gold with some silver and red lacquer and inlaid glass and ivory. The background of black roiro. The interior of nashiji and fundame. Flowering grasses, two crickets and a firefly on both sides. The cord channels are external.
