Description The vase, a pair with Walters 44.689, depicts multicolored doves (grey, blue, lavender, green and orange) on flowering apricot branches against a midnight-blue ground. Borders at the base and rim are geometric patterns inspired by Japanese textiles. The mounts and cloisons are silver. Inside the neck and on the bottom there is a gold and shakudo mottled surface.
