Bull
(Ancient Near East )
One side of this piece is carved as the forepart of a kneeling bull. It has large lidded eyes and a wrinkled nose. The mane is indicated by an incised ridge. There are holes for the attachment of the horn and the ear. The back of the piece is flat. It is deeply grooved for attachment.
