A Cold Day

Description A team of horses, hitched to a cart outside several thatched farm buildings, is exposed to a driving wind and snow storm. Though a relatively small work, this painting exemplifies Schreyer's accomplishments as a painter of horses and as a portrayer of the more violent and dramatic aspects of nature.
