Tsuba with Chrysanthemums
(Japanese Military Armor)
This tsuba is decorated with chrysanthemum in gold and copper alloy. The petals and leaves of the flower wrap around the edge so that parts of the same flower are visible on both sides. Chrysanthemums are a symbol of autumn.
