Fuchi with Cherry Tree in Bloom

The fuchi is decorated with the trunk and branches of a cherry tree in full bloom. The tree is made of black shakudo, with the blossoms in gold and silver. Cherry blossoms are a celebrated symbol of spring. This is part of a mounted set.
