Dark brown lacquer saya with tortoise-shell markings. Mountings en suite of copper and gold, nanako grounds of fine technique. Has the sling bands and obi-tori of the tachi. Gold habaki with chrysanthemum bloom. Menuki of gold; double seppa of gold and copper, two inscriptions on fuchi; signature on left of tang, inscription on right in gold inlay. Katsumori
