Fuchi with Landscape
(Japanese Military Armor)
The fuchi is decorated with a river or lake landscape seen. Sails of three small boats are depicted in gold on the front, framed by a rock and the top of a pine tree. The perspective is from above, as though looking down from a mountain top. This is part of a mounted set.
