Kashira with Birds
(Japanese Military Armor)
The kashira is covered in a fish egg pattern ("nanako-ji"). One end is covered with gold enamel. On the enamel are three small birds in shakudo. One bird is on the side and two are on the top. This is part of a set with Walters 51.956.
