Tsuba with a Large Carp and Two Small Fish
(Japanese Military Armor)
This tsuba shows a carp swimming along with two other fish. Carp are often associated with good fortune. The back of the tsuba shows additional aquatic life in the form of a spiny lobster and a water bug. Bubbles in the water are indicated in gold.
