Mr. R. Darden of Boston
(18th and 19th Centuries )
Staigg left his native Leeds, England, for America in 1841 and settled in Newport, Rhode Island. An accomplished artist, he was sought after as a miniaturist, especially in Boston. Nothing is known of the sitter beyond his name and residence.
