Medical Divination Text
Housing the medical interpretations of symptoms composed in Thai script, this folding book manuscript is protected by black covers with gold adhered to the surface. Accompanying these texts are eighteen illustrated openings decorated with large mascot figures (fols. 3-20). Each mascot is handsomely painted in a striking and dramatic dance posture. The last of the figures has been torn in half. The second portion of the manuscript is entirely text with no illustrations.
