Snake Head Amulet
1550-1186 BCE (New Kingdom, 18th-19th dynasty)
Snake's head pendants were common amulets in the New Kingdom, and were usually attached to a necklace. They should protect its owner in this life and the after life. For a similar pendant see Walters 42.356.
