Description This statue of a male figure wears a long skirt. His right arm is straight and forward with his hand clenched and pierced. His left hand is at his side, open. There is black on his eyes which is possibly modern. The object is glued to blocks of wood and set in a modern base. This is a workshop piece.
Provenance Dikran Kelekian, New York and Paris [date and mode of acquisition unknown] [as from Mithrahina; Henry Walters, Baltimore, 1911, by purchase; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
