Kylix with Head of an Amazon

This cup shows a variation of the motif of the female head: the woman is an Amazon and she wears a dotted Phrygian cap and a laurel wreath. The outside of the cup is decorated with figures of a naked youth and a seated woman, with palmettes in between.
