Description
The five characters read Seki sen so so gotoshi fu u: "Water gushes from the spring--like wind driving rain." The idea seems to be that we should strive to be as fresh and powerful.
Nukina Kaioku was considered one of the three greatest calligraphers of the late Edo period.
