Finger Ring with Names of Amun-Re in a Cartouche

Egyptian (Artist)
1070-940 BCE (Third Intermediate Period)

In this greenish faience example the surface within the signs is well preserved and bluer than the rest of the ring. The inscription reads "He who is on the seat of Amun-Re'-Kamutef." This god was honored in a special cult at Karnak.
