Description Mitsuuji shows off sketchbooks he made while exiled in the countryside. The ladies of the house are going through their painting collection in preparation for a picture contest. This print is from a series of fifty-four horizontal prints illustrating the chapters of the Edo-period novel "Nise Murasaki Inaka Genji" ("Fake-Murasaki's Country Genji").
