Kozuka of a Chinese Man Resting Beneath a Tree
(Japanese Military Armor)
The man shown resting with a fan over his face is probably a Chinese scholar. He is sitting on a woven mat beneath a tree. On the reverse is a portable shrine ("mikoshi") carried during shrine festivals and five large banners around it.
