Three-Handled Vase
Invented around 50 BC in the region of Syria and Palestine, the technique of blowing glass revolutionized glassmaking. Salviati pieces share bulbous forms that are characteristic of free-blown glass. Salviati and Co. goes one step further by the addition of bright colors and glass slices to the exterior, creating whimsical effects.
