Short Sword ("Wakizashi") with Dark Brown Saya
(Japanese Military Armor)
This Bizen style blade was cut down and remounted in the later 19th century. It was likely made by Kaytayama Ichimonji, and shows stylistic qualities indicative of Bizen-den work being done in Bitchu Province around 1300.
