Mortar with Hygeia
(Baroque Europe )
On the front of this mortar is a relief of the seated goddess Hygeia, on the back are the shields of the Pamphili and Aldobrandini families. The handles are cast as eagles with outspread wings, one is wreathed with a cord and holds a pendant medallion.
