Tsuba with Two Dragons
(Japanese Military Armor)
The figures of two dragons and clouds surrounding them form the body of this tsuba. The dragons are crafted in a three dimensional, openwork style. Dragons are symbols of power. They are often shown with clouds because they are affiliated with the sky and water.
