Annunciation and three groups of saints
This ivory relief is divided into four scenes depicted on two registers. Each of the scenes is set beneath three gothic arches. On the left wing in the top register we see St. John the Baptist to the left, next to the scene of the Annunciation. In the left lower register we encounter from left to right Saint Barbara, Saint Mary Magdalene, and Saint James the Greater, respectively. On the right wing in the top register Saint Paul, Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Peter are each depicted beneath a gothic arch. Beneath these figures in the lower register, Saint Bartholomew, Saint Agnes and Saint Stephen appear, respectively left to right.
